forDiabetes is a personalized tool that offers a complete solution for managing diabetes mellitus. It is also a communication platform between you and your treating physician.

  • Download the mobile app from Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS).
  • Create a free account using your email or sign in via Google / Facebook / Apple.
  • Add your data.

Yes. Your account works on Android, iOS, and Web. Your data is automatically synchronized.

Yes, it is available for free (Basic). For advanced features, Premium packages are available: 3-month or 12-month subscription.

With Premium, you get full access to the Web app, detailed reports with charts, data export (PDF/Excel/CSV/HTML), HbA1c calculation, real-time backups, and your doctor can access your data.

  • Emergency SOS feature

Yes, the app works fully offline. Entries are synced with the cloud once the connection is restored.

Data Collection & Export

  • From the home screen, tap the “+” button and select "Blood Glucose."
  • Enter the value, time, and any relevant details (meal, medication, activity), then tap “Save.”

mg/dL and mmol/L. You can change them via Settings → Preferences → Measurement Units.

From the mobile app or the Web app (Premium). Also automatically via:

  • Glucose meters with Bluetooth or NFC
  • Google Health Connect and Apple Health

Settings → Devices & Apps → select your device (Accu-Chek Instant, Accu-Chek Guide, Contour Care, Contour Next, Contour Next One).
Follow the pairing instructions and enable automatic data transfer.

Blood glucose, blood pressure, body measurements (weight, etc.), meals, and activities.

Tap “+” → Tests. Categories include Biochemical Tests, Hormones, Urinalysis, etc., with support for multiple measurement units.

  • Go to a category page (e.g., Blood Glucose).
  • Set filters (date range, glucose levels, etc.).
  • Select columns.
  • Download in format: CSV, PDF, Excel, HTML, etc.

Tap the delete button next to each entry in the list.

Low (purple): Below target — hypoglycemia
Normal (green): Within target range
High (red): Above target — hyperglycemia

Ideal: <120 / <80 mmHg
Normal: 120–129 / 80–84 mmHg
High-normal: 130–139 / 85–89 mmHg
Hypertension Stage 1: 140–159 / 90–99 mmHg
Hypertension Stage 2: 160–179 / 100–109 mmHg
Hypertension Stage 3: ≥180 / ≥110 mmHg

My Account

Yes. Google and Facebook (all platforms), Apple ID (iOS only).

Go to Account Edit from the mobile or Web menu.

Click “Forgot password” on the login screen and follow the email instructions.

No automatic charge unless auto-renewal is enabled.
If not renewed, you continue with Basic without data loss.

Mobile: Profile → Delete account request
Web: Send email via contact form

Customization & Settings

Settings → Goals. You can define:

  • Glucose: min/max values before and after meals
  • Activity: exercise minutes, steps, calories
  • Body & Nutrition: weight goal, daily carbohydrate intake

Settings → Preferences → Measurement Units (mobile) or Account Edit (Web).

Settings → Preferences → Language. Multiple languages supported, including Greek.

Tools → Reminders → New Reminder.
Set one-time or recurring reminders (daily, weekly, or specific days).

In each category (Glucose, Pressure, Weight, etc.), select “Progress.”
Charts and trends are displayed.

Premium feature. Tap SOS on the home screen, confirm, and the app sends an SMS to your emergency contact (optionally with your location).

Google requires location access for apps using Bluetooth.
If you don’t connect a glucose meter, location is not requested.
Your location is never stored or used.

Health Tips

Useful practices and tips on how to take care of your health

  • Inspect the entire foot: top, sole, and sides
  • Check between toes
  • Feel for lumps or cold spots
  • If anything unusual appears, contact your doctor immediately

  • Check daily for cuts, blisters, redness, swelling
  • Wash with lukewarm (not hot) water and dry carefully
  • Use moisturizer daily (not between toes)
  • Always wear clean socks and footwear
  • Schedule regular foot exams
